Current Trends in Youth Hoops
Too often, grade school to middle school student-athletes receive inadequate skills development and team concepts coaching, and not enough game-like repetitions. This leads to many players being under-developed by the time they hit high school. Subsequently, players that then get cut from high school tryouts may quit playing basketball altogether and few development opportunities exist during the winter months to keep them engaged. Or perhaps the high school program is not a fit or they chose to commit to other winter activities but still desire an outlet to help keep their hoops skills sharp. The Academy's winter basketball league provides an outlet to student-athletes to help counter these unfortunate trends. Trust us, participants will receive high quality and certified training, along with plenty of game-like reps to help them develop!
